The cosmos is making up for my 1,300 mile Versa trip by allowing me 9+ d riving hours in this lovely little wagon. Life is good.

Between the fact that I rented from Advantage and it has close to 30,000 miles on it, it’s in shockingly nice shape.

Is that actually a Golf Wagon TDI being used in the US as a rental car, or am I just seeing things? Hope you enjoy driving it,  I love my MK6.

That’s...a diesel. Wow.

I loved my Golf. 50k trouble free miles while being fun and getting 35+ mpg. No complaints other than the seats were meh.

It IS. I have no explanation, but I adore it. Except for the weird only-5mph-intervals on the cruise control adjustment...but it’s been really good to drive.

I’m going to say no? I mean it has an infotainment touch screen and leather seats, no seat heaters or any weird electronic assists that I’ve noticed, but I don’t tend to like any of that anyway. I don’t really know how fancy these get.

There are stickers all over the car warning you to only refill with diesel. I’m shocked they took the risk on a rental, honestly.

If it has a touch screen with nav and  bluetooth, I figure that’s as good as rentals get.  The one I have right now doesn’t even have auto climate control.
